Quay West helps County Broadband connect with the media

When small companies tackle large issues, they often do so without the recognition that they deserve. Rural broadband pioneer Lloyd Felton approached Quay West to ask how best to put across his message that providing high speed broadband to remote rural areas is both vital and commercially viable. The founder of County Broadband and his team have for several years been punching above their weight in connecting the outlying parishes of Essex, with dozens of successfully completed projects and many more in the pipeline.

As well as distilling the key messages to secure local press coverage, Quay West approached BBC East’s Politics Show, proposing a show focused on the rural broadband issue, using County Broadband as an example of what can be achieved with alternative technology. The result was on screen interviews the following month with Look East and The politics Show for Lloyd Felton, his County Broadband customer Andrew Sunnucks of Audio Network plc, John Gili-Ross, Chairman of the Parish Council for West Bergholt, currently working with County Broadband to provide the parish of West Bergolt with high speed broadband.
