Always flexible when it comes to the changing needs of its clients, Quay West supported Mick Durham and Rod Harris, Directors of training provider uke learning in their desire to move in more influential circles. Quay West made approaches to some key political figures and set up a face to face meeting for Mick and Rod with John Hayes MP, Shadow Minister for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education. 

Following a successful meeting at the House of Commons, uke learning drafted a proposed Code of Conduct for Training Providers; assisting in the formation of the Conservative Party’s future policies. It is anticipated that further meetings will follow.

The agency’s efforts also secured uke learning an invitation from Lord Baker to attend his Baker Dearing Educational Trust Seminar on University Technical Colleges in February 2010. Quay West continues to work with uke learning, furthering its public affairs programme.
